The 2026 Vintage and Classic Flyer Has Arrived

  • by

Momentum is building for the 2026 McLaren Vale Vintage and Classic, and we’re excited to release the official event flyer for this year’s celebration of cars, wine, food and community.

Now in its 20th running, Vintage and Classic continues to grow as one of McLaren Vale’s most loved community events — bringing together car enthusiasts, families, locals and visitors to enjoy a unique combination of classic motoring and world-class wine country hospitality.

The newly released flyer gives visitors a clear overview of what’s happening across the region on Sunday 12 April 2026, including the parade, the Saturday night launch party, and the participating wineries hosting visiting car clubs. PLEASE NOTE, AT TIME OF RELEASE, WE ARE STILL FINALISING THE REGISTRANTS AND DESTINATIONS. KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE WEB SITE AND SOCIALS FOR UPDATES.

You can view the full flyer here.

What to Expect on the Day

Vintage and Classic transforms McLaren Vale into a motoring and lifestyle festival.

The day begins with the Main Road Parade at 11am, where hundreds of vintage, classic and enthusiast vehicles cruise through the township from Kangarilla Road to the McLaren Vale Visitor Centre.

After the parade, the cars disperse across host wineries and venues throughout the region, where visitors can enjoy:

  • Mini car shows hosted by wineries
  • Live music throughout the afternoon
  • Local food vendors and winery kitchens
  • Cellar door experiences and regional platters
  • Family-friendly entertainment

Each venue hosts different car clubs and marques, meaning every stop offers something unique.

A Community Event

Vintage and Classic began in 2006, inspired by two things McLaren Vale does exceptionally well — great wine and beautiful classics.

Since then, it has grown into a signature regional event, attracting thousands of visitors from across South Australia and interstate each year.

Most importantly, it remains a community-driven, not-for-profit event, organised by passionate volunteers and supported by local businesses, wineries and sponsors. The Vintage and Classic is an incorporated, not-for-profit event. Every dollar raised is used to bring the event to they commuity and is run by the community.

Plan Your Day

With a dozen venues hosting different car clubs, music and food, the best approach is simple:

Pick a few wineries, follow your favourite marques, and enjoy the day exploring McLaren Vale.
